Science Activities


*Nature walk-look for signs of spring, write about why they are signs, what changes they are making compared to what they look like during the winter months

*Home Economics-bake/cook something together, have them help with breakfast, lunch, or dinner

*Google easy science experiments-try to complete one a week Read a science non-fiction book

*Plant a garden-journal and record what you do and the changes you observe (start in small containers then transplant outside when it warms up)

*Magic School Bus videos-we watch these in class and we watch them with a ‘science eye’ instead of a cartoon

*Bill Nye The Science Guy videos

*Wild Kratts Videos-great way to learn about different types of animals

*Every day the Henry Doorly Zoo does an animal interaction class on their facebook page, it is really interesting.
